Roy
Innella biography
Roy Innella, founder and CEO of
Infinity Resource Group, says with a wink:
"My Ph.D. is in graphics and
printing - and took me only 30 years to get it."
Over the years Roy has worked on virtually
every planet in the graphics and printing universe.
While still in high school, he started as a deliveryman
for Philadelphia Main Line's largest direct mail house.
A fast learner, he became a printer, cutter, folder,
binder in quick succession, gaining valuable hands-on
experience. After graduating from West Chester University
with a business administration major, he was asked to
join the mailing house's sales department - the youngest
person ever so promoted in the firm's 17-year history.
After a few years, and with a growing
family, Roy moved on. Having been recruited by a series
of successiveIy larger and more diverse printing concerns,
he learned about an ever-widening range of production
methods and options - while his forte remained sales
and its twin, client service.
In 1985, Roy and a partner launched Apollo
Graphics Ltd. in center city Philadelphia. AG offered
just one thing: superior color printing to the city's
advertising and graphic design communities. The concept
not only caught on, it also made Apollo Graphics one
of the premier printers in the metro Philadelphia market.
1997 saw the birth of Infinity Resource
Group, with Roy at the helm. Once again the concept
was simple: offer exceptional work at reasonable prices.
With thirty years of hands-on print production experience
behind him, an intimate knowledge of the paper industry,
innumerable contacts with specialty subcontractors and
a laser-beam focus on what clients want, Roy has made
Infinity Resource Group into a phenomenal success.*
And with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies
to start-ups, that's no easy feat. "I've had the
thrill of running a sizeable company and managing a
large sales force," Roy says, "but now, I
can take my years of experience and put it to work for
clients, working almost as an extension of their own
staff. Believe me, knowing where the 'potholes' are
on the way to getting a job done is more than a good
start, it's also how I save clients money."

in 2002.
