ITEM 1-3
Outdoor Advertising
Association of America(OAAA)
Planner for Out of Home Media
Challenge:
The joint effort of
OAAA and TAB, the book is a perfect bound, 200
page full color reference book for the outdoor
industry with over 500 photographs and illustrations
throughout. The challenge presented to Infinity
was to prepare the book electronically for printing,
enhancing all photography for so that the reader
could easily reference the material. Proofs were
required for a number of "proofers"
spread throughout the United States. After approval
the project had to be printed in time for a Conference
where it would be advertised and sold.
Solution:
Since the book was written in chapters, Infinity
created Adobe pdf files for distribution electronically
and e-mailed to all of the players on the project.
The changes were then faxed or e-mailed back to
Infinity Resource Group for further work. This
method minimized Authors Alterations charges for
the clients. Normally in a project of this magnitude
and people involved would require many "hard
copy proofs" incurring a good deal of time
and expense.
Outcome:
The final proofs for
the book required only 1 set of contract color
proofs because they were already proofed by the
recipients electronically. Therefore the changes
were minimal. The book was printed without problems
and an initial quantity was shipped to the Conference
and introduced at the show on time and with great
success. Both clients are now selling the books
to their members and affiliates, with Infinity
Resource Group storing and fulfilling the balance.
How it was produced:
Printed in signatures
of 16 pages on a 28 x 40 Heidelberg offset press
on 80# white coated glossy paper then folded down
to 16 page units on a 28 x 40 high speed folder.
These units were then sent to a bindery where
they were gathered and glued and perfect bound,
then packaged for shipment.

ITEM 1-4
DVRPC Calendar/Annual Report
Challenge:Delaware Valley Regional
Planning Commission, a local Philadelphia government
commission, annually produces an "Annual
Report" for its members and affiliates that
contains financial data as well as scheduled meeting
dates. This year, it wanted it produced for high
profile use, with many photos and a great deal
of copy. The project had to meet a 2-week deadline
for a crucial board meeting. The production run
was 4 color process plus 2 special metallic colors
Solution:
A very creative team
consisting of the client's design studio and Infinity
and its resources suggested a wiro binding calendar
approach so that the item would have long term
life for extended usage.
Outcome:The calendar/annual
report was completed on time and distributed to
the board from which the client received many
complementary remarks.
How it was
produced:Printed in 8 page signatures
on a 6 color plus aqueous coating 28 x 40 Miller
offset press with coating tower. The flat press
sheets were then sent to bindery where they was
folded into sections instead of collating. Then
sections were gathered into proper sequence and
4-side trimmed, wiro punched and bound and 1-
hole punched for hanging.

ITEM 1-5
SunGard Gameboard
Challenge:SunGard, a disaster
recovery company headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania,
wanted a game with a "Monopoly like"
excitement which its clients could play and be
educated in the use of its services. Only 30 days
were available for concept to completion of the
500 pieces.
Solution:Infinity
rose to the occasion and working with the client's
agency's artist and pooling its many resources,
came in on time and on budget with an actual game-board
and packaging.
Outcome : The finished games were shipped to the
trade show and were "a hit" according
to the client who played the game with clients
and potential clients successfully.
How it was
produced:Sheets
printed on a 19 x 25 Heidelberg 5 color offset
press were wrapped over 2- piece 90 point chipboard
with special hot gluing machinery and manually
finished with a colored leather look paper on
the outside. A finished package was required for
distribution, so a special game box fitting the
game board and other game components was die-cut
out of white clay "E" fluted corrugated
and shrink wrapped.

contact lens maker, wanted a high profile brochure
that promoted the use of its colored contact lenses.

a booklet.
Solution:
Infinity was contracted
to produce the brochure and used its many resources
to print, die-cut and bind the finished booklet.
Outcome:
Cibavision distributed
the booklet to each of its retail outlets with
great results… and many new orders for its
colored contact lenses.

a 6-color Heidelberg offset press with a coating
tower on 120 lb. White coated cover paper in 1
